Yes! The first thing you must do is to flood your affiliate site with traffic.

You can rely on paid services like Yahoo! or Google AdWords, those guarantee results. Go for the European market, use yahoo.co.uk to promote your Yahoo! ads, as they have the highest potential for web marketing.

Never be afraid to start slow. If you are low on budget, there are free resources to earn your traffic. Head on to my website for free advertising instrument.
