Vending Machine Business - Your Part Time Weekend Food Vending Business!
By Chris J Robertson

Ah! The vending machine business! What is it that draws people into it? Sure there is money to be made, and the fact that it is an all cash business makes it very appealing as well. I mean no invoices to deal with companies. Just simply fill your machines and take out the money!

It sounds great and sure it really is but there a number of things to consider before diving in. One thing to remember is that it is a business that does require some work and a little skill. The work and skill part go hand in hand. It is real easy to fill a pop machine. Once you do it a few times it's no problem. But what about finding the locations where you want to place your vending machines?

This is the skill part that I was talking about! It does take some time and persistence to find the locations and close the deal. From the time you meet or contact your prospect to the time you are installing your machines there is a process that takes place.

This process is not something that happens over night! It is something that may take a week or a few months to complete. It really depends on your prospects timeline for installing your vending machines.

But if you stick to your prospect like glue and keep following up and doing what needs to be done to make sure that they have all the information that they need from you, you will end up closing more deals than you know!

Can you find a way to solve their problem? Can you do something a little different than the next guy? Before you buy one vending machine do the necessary homework in advance. You will save yourself a lot of headaches along the way.

This is a business that can help set you free if you start out right and get started on the right foot. So read all that you can and research before diving in head first!

Some people have fallen to the scam artists out there that just want to sell you over priced machines and take your hard earned money. Please don't fall for this!

Find a reputable vending distributor in your area and buy from them before buying your machines at a seminar! Start out one machine at a time build and learning along the way.

Unless you are buying an established vending route it will take some time to build up your business!

But what if I told you that if you stuck with it and really focused on building your vending business one machine at a time and that this could lead to you earning more money than your full time job would you believe me?

Let me tell you a quick story.

When I first started in this business I was working full time driving a city bus. A friend of mine at work simply asked me to take over the responsibility of restocking the pop machine that we had at work, as he was venturing off into a new line of work.

I quickly realized that I was making an extra $75 - $100 every week from simply selling a few cases of pop on a steady regular basis. This caught my attention! So I went out and talked with a vending machine distributor who was able to sell me machines.

This is where it began for me as I started on a part time basis. I went from one business to another simply knocking on doors asking if I could set up a pop machine at their company. I'll be honest I had a lot of people say No thanks, we already have machines! But! and this is a Big But! There were a few along the way that said yes! So as I went along from one place to the next I slowly built up my business one machine at a time.

As people got to know that I was in the business I began to get some referrals along the way. Then I started to take my business to the next level with reinvesting my earnings and started to advertise to my market.

That is when things really started to shape up! When you can advertise in a way to your prospect and have them contact you first then you will close more deals, get more business and truthfully make more money.

So how did I do all of this? With some hard work and persistence combined with the "I will not quit" attitude this did happen for me. I will tell you that through doing my homework first and researching this business helped me along the way.

So how are you going to profit from your vending business? Are you going to get started in vending today? By reading this article you are making a wise choice and investment in your future. I hope this information was of value to you.
